CompTIA Authorized Service Center Program Boosts Customer Confidence

Incredible Connection is an IT specialist retailer with 60 stores across South Africa, and two additional stores in Namibia and Botswana. With 155 staff members, customer service is Incredible Connection’s main focus.

After comparing the skills and abilities of his technical staff members to CompTIA certification standards, Beetge was pleased to find the gaps in the staff’s knowledge could be addressed by CompTIA certifications. Incredible Connection began a development program for employees, and encouraged employees to pursue certification across a selection of CompTIA’s product offerings.

Although the decision to have the staff CompTIA certified was an easy decision, the path to certification was difficult for some. Incredible Connection supported and encouraged its staff through the entire process until they were able to earn their certification.


Today, the CompTIA A+ Authorized Service Center logo is visible in every store, reassuring customers that their problems will be handled by IT professionals who have the latest knowledge and insights into PC repair, maintenance, security and troubleshooting.


“Having a qualified and experienced technical workforce instills trust with our customers, which in return promotes loyalty and we believe this is our edge above our competitors,” said Beetge. 


The impact is not only visible in customers’ satisfaction levels, but it’s also apparent in Incredible Connection’s bottom line. Beetge adds, “Accurate fault analysis, first time fix and improved customer service all contribute to a positive financial impact.”
