Cloud Experts Needed

CompTIA is looking for IT professionals who have experience in the field of cloud computing to be involved in developing content for our CompTIA Cloud Essentials exam.

During this exam development workshop, subject matter experts (SMEs) will write and review exam questions and be asked to rate the difficulty of the new items.

Potential SMEs must have strong knowledge and understanding of the main cloud computing principles and concepts from a business and technical perspective, as well as what is involved in moving to and governing the cloud. Assistance from SMEs is crucial to providing an industry relevant exam.

SMEs will receive a $300 a day stipend for the 5-day workshop, pending full participation in the program. Meals will be provided during the 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. working days as well. Recognition for SMEs includes listing on the CompTIA website as permitted by employers.

Only professionals currently working in an IT environment should apply. Although CompTIA appreciates interest from the training community, applications from trainers, authors, or individuals who may profit or materially benefit from knowledge of the CompTIA credential content are not eligible to participate.
