CompTIA is looking for IT professionals who have extensive experience in the field of IT support to update our CompTIA A+ certification exam.
During this "Cut Score" exam development workshop, the third and final phase, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will provide assistance in item review and setting the passing standard for the certification exam.
SMEs will validate the skills and knowledge required to be a successful IT support technician. IT professionals with a strong technical background, at least two years current experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating systems, mobile operating systems Android and Apple iOS, and PC hardware, including motherboard related components, are preferred. CompTIA A+ certification is also preferred. Assistance from subject matter experts is crucial to providing an industry relevant exam.
SMEs will receive a $300 a day stipend for the 5-day workshop, as well as meals provided during the 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. working days. SMEs will receive recognition on the CompTIA website pending full participation in the workshop.
