RFID+ Certification CompTIA Radio Frequency Identification (RFID+) certification measures a technician's ability to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the hardware and software functionality of RFID products.

CompTIA RFID+ validates a baseline for the knowledge and skills required of RFID workers, giving business owners the opportunity to hire qualified professionals, and individuals a credential to prove their ability.

The exam covers interrogation zone basics, testing and troubleshooting, standards and regulations, tag knowledge, design selection, installation, site analytics, RF physics, RFID and peripherals. It is recommended that candidates have six to 24 months experience in RFID technologies.

Candidate job roles include RFID field technician, systems engineer and solutions architect. Companies such as SUN Microsystems, Lowry Computer Products, Tyco Safety Products, Medtronic, Unisys and ODIN Technologies use CompTIA RFID+ certification.
