CompTIA Career ID Certification Validation Service

Does your organization need to verify CompTIA certifications of staff, applicants, partners or students? CompTIA Career ID Certification Validation Service is your quick and easy solution, and is free to CompTIA members.

How does it work?
Send CompTIA a list of names, Career ID numbers and which CompTIA certifications need verification. CompTIA looks up the certification record for each name listed* and returns the results electronically.

Can your organization participate?
In order to use the Career ID Certification Validation Service, your organization must:

(1) Be a current CompTIA Corporate Member. Non-members may also participate, but must pay a service fee.

(2) Recommend, require or use CompTIA certification towards employment, academic or education credit, government or military regulation or reporting.

(3) Know the name and Career ID number of each individual you wish to validate.

(4) Agree to adhere to privacy requirements not to share, copy, re-transmit or re-use certification status information beyond your stated purposes.
