The beta exam became available Oct. 12, 2006 at all Pearson VUE and Prometric testing centers worldwide.

The beta is available worldwide in English.

The price for the beta exam is $75 USD.

Will I be CompTIA Convergence+ certified once I have passed the beta exam or will I need to re-test once the live exam has launched?
Once you have passed the beta exam, you will be CompTIA Convergence+ certified. There is no need to re-test.

What is the beta exam code?
The beta exam code is CT1-101.

How do I register to take the beta exam?
You can register for the beta exam with either Pearson VUE or Prometric testing centers.

You will be notified by mail approximately 4-5 months after the beta exam period closes. You will not find out whether you passed the exam at the test center.
