About CompTIA Convergence+

Traditionally, companies have offered either voice or data products and services. However, because of increased demand for more complete solutions, many businesses now offer both. CompTIA Convergence+ was developed to validate the skills of technicians that install and support voice and data networks.

Launched in 2007, the CompTIA Convergence+ exam was created with input from industry experts and technical professionals. It was written to test knowledge of Communications Technologies (CT), and covers the integration of datacomm, telephony/telecommunications, video and broadcast multimedia technologies into a single IP-based delivery system.
